Cariad

Cariad is a band that specializes in the traditional folk music of Wales.  We often play as a fiddle guitar duo and are available to perform with Ann Whiting, clogger, who will entertain you with her energetic and spirited dancing on her wooden shoes! We have the capacity to add other musicians to our team to add songs, flutes, pipes, and more.  This is an especially rich and beautiful repertoire that fits extremely well in wedding ceremonies due to its capacity to please a wide range of audiences.

We play for coffee houses, house concerts, weddings and  other special occasions.  We also host an annual Welsh traditional jam session and have a Welsh Tunes CD available entitled:  From Wales to Vermont:  36 Welsh Traditional Tunes to learn and play.
